This PB & J Smoothie tastes exactly like a PB & J sandwich…just a more protein packed version of your lunchtime staple as a kid:)
I live for a good smoothie, especially after a good workout but even more so when I need something quick and nutritious (fast breakfast anyone?). I started to become even more conscious of what I was putting in my smoothie when I was pregnant with Sammie and continued that beyond pregnancy. I love being able to add more than just the standard protein powder and milk. I say load it up baby!

PB & J Protein Packed Smoothie
Your lunchtime staple as a kid just got a little more protein packed into it. Enjoy this quick PB & J smoothie on the go, post-workout or just if you're feeling nostalgic.
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 scoop your favorite vanilla protein powder
- 1/4 cup frozen fruit (I like mixed berry for this one)
- 1 tbsp almond butter You can use any nut butter really. I just happen to be on an almond butter kick these days
Blend all ingredients together in a blender or bullet blender. Enjoy!
